Quality Computer Systems :: Central Georgia's Best In Business Award

Quality Computer Systems has been awarded the prestigious Best In Business Award for Central Georgia!

Thirty four recipients of the Best in Business Award were announced today for the Central Georgia area. Quality, integrity, trust and experience are the cornerstones of this prestigious award, which recognizes businesses and professionals from Bibb and Houston counties.

Recipients of the award are Aegis Roofing, Affordable Chimney Sweeps, Allen’s Tree Service, Andrew Brooks Photography, ASP Pool & Spa Co., Backyard Basics, Bickley Design Build Services, Carpet Cure, Champion Window Company, Cox Communications, First Look Opticians / Eye Physicians, Harrison’s Body & Glass Shop, Houston Asphalt, Hudson & Marshall Auction Company, Imedia Group, IndoorOut, Ken’s, Macon Occupational Medicine, Marble Masters, Master Transmissions, Moore’s Furniture, Ned Dominick’s National Home Inspections, OrthoGeorgia, Phillips Chiropractic, Quality Computer Systems, Raffield Tire Master, Safeway Security Systems, Stewart Septic Service, Super Sod, TGW Garden Design & Installation, The Law Firm of Kathy McArthur, Trading Post Moving & Storage, Wayne Hudgins Floors & Carpet and White & Lavender Pest Control.

Consumers from both counties participated several months ago in an on-line survey and were asked to nominate businesses and professionals they felt were worthy of the distinction, “Best in Business”. An independent firm located in Nashville, 20/20 Research, was advised in the compilation of data; then the Best in Business Award Association began an extensive selection process. Each nominee first had to demonstrate a satisfactory rating with the local Better Business Bureau, a prerequisite of the program. Next, the owner or officer of the nominated business was required to participate in an assessment interview with Best in Business Award. Topics ranging from experience and hiring practices of their employees to liability insurance coverage and customer service procedures were discussed, just to name a few. The final step in the selection process was to gauge a nominee’s overall reputation in the community among their peers. For instance, insurance companies were asked which collision repair shops are on their preferred list, realtors were asked which home inspectors they would recommend, general contractors were asked which subcontractors are the most dependable, etc. “Selecting an exceptional slate of recipients for our award was time consuming and required us to be thorough”, said Ben Edwards, president of Best in Business Award. “Allowing local consumers to take part in the process also gave us a credible point of reference from which to begin our search” he added.
